Help identifying my new player
 

Hi everyone,

I'm a new user and I need help :)

I'v bought a DXT 8GB (real not fake, controlled as it was taken out of the box...) MP4 Player: the model is VX418.

When I attached it to my notebook, it was recognized like Actions USB Flash Disk; in the firmware info in the player's menu i found this lines:

For last, when I power on the unit, the DXT logo appear with a small "1.06" text on the right lower corner, indicating (I think) the fw version.

So, here the questions: what resources I should use for this player? What fw can I install on it? Can I modify or install other themes?

On the cd I found MP3 Utilities 4.21: must use them o can I use other newer versions of other programs?

Open it up and check the part# of the NAND flash to be sure. 8GB Actions devices are rare.

You can try extracting the firmware with s1res 4.0 for backup.
