Worth a mention that you can easily make your own rkusb.tag at any time.
Just right click on your player and create a NEW document (any say "New Microsoft Word Document.doc") and just rename it to rkusb.tag and it works just fine.

Btw, here are some typical Rockchip 27xx series players that this firmware extraction method will work on:-

Hello everyone.
Newbie with such player, I have this one above, with 16GB.
Backuping sofware from the hidden disk, there is another file called "HOLDON.BIN".
Anyway, I tried the I PHONE LOOK on it and... It crashed (screen went crazy, irreadable, messy).
I switched it off and never started again.
I had to format the main disk (15,3 gb, and "bye-bye" my mp3 and avi),although the screen stilled dark (I guess it needed the right program to start).
Hopefully, I could reinstall the original files I saved.
Now it seems to work...
Does anyone know what I did wrong ?
The guy on ebay told me it can't be upgradable.
Something else : mine can't play mp4 that I get thanks to keepvid.com.
And yours ?
Thanks for you help ! :)

what did you do, did you just load on another fimrware - you cant do this, your player has yo use its own firmware, if you want a different look then you have to mod your firmware

it wont play MP4 files - convert them im afraid

Thanks for your interest ! :D
I followed this process : http://www.mympxplayer.org/previous-...r=asc&&start=0.
I do confirm there is the same structure of folders, except an extra file called "HOLDON.BIN" in the root of the device...
I thought installing those files was safe, because it's Rockchip firmware: RK27SDK-080422.
Can anyone confirm I can change the look of mine, and how ?
