sound related

my sister and i recently bought 2 identical mp4 players (2GB). it works fine, but when you try to listen to the songs, they all sound like they have echo... I tried switching the earphones with another, but it still sounds the same...

can this be resolved?

most of these players have graphic equalizers (presets) and some have user levels, have you checked them? Some of them do sound like an echo on certain types of mysic, especially the 3d EQ preset.
