Need help identifying my Coby MP610

I have a Coby MP610 and I haven't been able to extract the firmware or identify which chipset it is. I would like to back up the firmware but s1fwx didn't detect it and I don't know what to try next.

Firmware Version: 01.20.13
Chip: 08
Firmware: fw_tianma
ISP: M7103_080528.BIN
NAND: TC58NVG4D1DTG(MLC) TOSHIBA
Capacity: 3966/4096 MB
VID: 0402, PID:5668

ALi M5668? The VID is ALi's, and since their M5661/5667 have PIDs of 5661/5667 you'd expect this one to be an M5668... although I can't find any traces of such an IC existing on the internet. Maybe it's a new one, but then the "ISP: M7103..." (where did you get that info from?) suggests it's the M7103 chip (equally rare and unknown).

This might be somewhat useful...

You can try M566xISP tool to save the "PM" (that's what the firmware is called in these ALi chips).

I got that information by downloading and running the MP610 firmware update tool (see screenshot below).

Update: I managed to dump the firmware (pm.bin) by using a newer version of the ISP tool (M7103ISP_0.96.0). The version I tried earlier was 0.79 (I think) which failed, but 0.96 works. If you wish, I could upload the newer mptool and m701isp software. In case you are wondering, it is packaged with Chillkat ZIP 2 Secure EXE, but I managed to get the files out of the temp directory and they seem to work.

Yes, it would be very good to upload the tools so others can recover/save the firmware on their players. Not much is known about these ALi chips (much less than Actions).

I have a hitachi dmp860 mp3 player which also contains an Ali's CPU, I used the isp tool to backup pm.bin from a working dmp860 but i could not program it, it says "Invalid Filename". Do you have any suggestions.
