Convert language to English from Chinese for Onda clone player

everything still works with my player but everything is in Chinese and not English. I believe I have the Onda VX858le clone I was wondering if I should update the firmware. the one that I have seems to be the second one down labeled for different vx858le clones from the link below. I would rather not update if I don't have too becouse it would apprea that I will break my player.

I wouldn't risk updating your player's firmware.
Your player was probably set to Chinese from the factory, all you need to do is fine where the option is to change the language to English instead.

I can't read Chinese, however, my wife can read Chinese. So, if you can post some images of your player's menu, I'll try to translate it for you and tell you what they mean.
