Unhappy After 2 or 3 tracks, the MP3 shut down and restarts

Hi all,

After I've googled this problems, looked on the forums, I didn't found something that help me, so I turn to you.

I've bought a little MP3 1GB, he looked very well and I was planning to give it to my mother, but I have noticed that this tiny player was sensible to the temperature o_O !

When I play some songs, It works well, but, after 2 or 3 tracks, the MP3 shut down and restarts...
Then, if I try to play any song, It restars, but if I navigate in the interface, he is normal, He seems to get problems acceding to memory...
I've done a checkdisk but without result, I ask you to help me please

Try FORMATTING your player in Windows to see if that helps as well.

Players restarting can be an indication that you have a HACKED player. This is where the seller or manufacturer has hacked the player to show more memory than that is physically installed on the player. So as a consequence, the player restarts when it tries to access that porportion of the hacked memory.

Try formatting first, if that doesn't work, then try following the guide in this post here:

How To: Removing Memory Hack

Also try using this tool to see if it can tell you how much memory you have --> Tool: H2testw - To test hacked flash memory.

Hope that helps.
Let me know how you get on.

The flash says DN27UT088Gxxx which is a real 1GB chip.

Try reformatting with MP3 Player Utilities.
