Default Help identify my device?

I have a device - from the outside, it appears to be a second generation Ipod Shuffle. However, I know it isn't. My grandson got this for his birthday - and he promptly threw away all of the packaging

I've seen similar devices referred to as shuffle-style clipper.

This is a link to a page that has devices that appear similar to mine.

MP3 Player - Style Shuffle Clipper

How can I find out the firmware version?
How can I find out the chipset it has?
Does anyone have the instruction sheet - especially the meaning of the various LEDs it displays?

Thanks, in advance...
