Can't play videos
 

Hi,
i have a big problem with this generic mp4 player it use to work fine! here is a link to the player..................

the problem is when i plug it into my pc it comes up as removable storage. fine!... but there are no files within it, eg music, video, games etc. When I drag my mp4 movie across it goes on to the player but not in to the video part. It comes up on the player in explorer part with no way to play it. Any thoughts??

The videofiles must be in AVI, 320x240 pixel, 25fps. Sounds like a typical RockChip-Player with xvid-encoded avi-files. Try viDrop with the "Generic RockChip 320x240 high"-preset.

So to confirm, it's only just the VIDEOS that you can't play on your player? Or you're having problems playing music and photos/images as well?

Do you also have a SAMPLE VIDEO that came with your player? That will help determine what video type your player can play and what settings it uses.

thanks for the quick reply vidrop worked a treat...but... there is no sound :-( any thoughts??
