Navigation on MP4
 

Hi,
I saw a picture of an MP4 player in the gallery & recognised it as the same one I just bought. Its an iPod rip off style MP4 8GB with touch screen.http://mympx.org/Gallery/p17_sectionid/3/p17_imageid/6

I'm having trouble with sorting tracks on the user interface because they don't all have album/genre data. As a result I can only see about half the tracks I loaded! There is also a Favourites feature (not m3u) but I can't see how to edit that either :-(

The player automatically produces a classify.dat file which has artist/album/genre/track info but it doesn't reflect the music I've loaded properly & is a nightmare to edit.

Just wondered if anyone had any idea who makes these & if there is any software to help with this

Solved it myself. Had to clear the palyer out & start again.

Just had badly tagged music. I didn't really understand how tagging works, but I do now & that was the most important thing: tag it properly first before you load the data.

Thanks for letting us know you've solved the problem. I didn't get a chance to take a look at it on my player yet.

Can you tell us what you did?
When you mean "tagging", you mean the ID3 within the MP3 file right?
