Default Hacked mp3 player trouble

Hey everyone, i'm fairly certain I have purchassed a hacked mp3 player. It displays the size as 8 GB.
I tried the memory hack fix, and the problem is it STILL is 8 GB. While I realize it's possible that it MAY be 8 GB, it won't work.
The player boots up fine, and gets to the menu. But trying to access anything, it reads "Disk Error!".
The player shows that it has 0% memory, and I think this is why. I can get it to work, but I think it might only work with Fat, since any time I get over 2 GB (And thus have to use FAT32) it reads disk error. Anyone have any idea?
If anyone was wondering, here's a picture of what it looks like:
Click the image to open in full size.
Except it's supposedly an 8 GB.
Thanks,
Lamaboy
