E-Bay 8GB MP4 Player issues with video and is it hacked?
Hello everyone.
This is my first time ever knowing that this forum even exists and I am sure that you know what that means. I bought an 8GB MP4 Player off of e-bay for $24.50 sounds to good to be true (well it is a and it isn't) I copied some songs on to it with no problem. Then when i went to copy a movie on to it no luck. I have anydvd converter and that handles almost all video formats. Well being that this was called an MP4 player I converted a movie to such format and it didn't show up. So then I started to look at the disk that came with this player and tried to install the program for it. The program does not even get to starting to install before it tells me that the file is corrupt. So now I am stuck trying to find a video converter. I start searching for an IMV converter as that is what is on the disk with no luck. Well in my searches I come across the posts about hacked flash memory and figure that my Chip must be hacked.
Here is a link to the Ebay auction 8GB New Slim 1.8"LCD MP3 MP4 Radio FM Player &Free Ship - eBay (item 220458572524 end time Jul-29-09 01:05:00 PDT)
And if that does not work here is the Item number 220458572524
My problem is what video format do I need for this to work? and is the memory hacked ? I bought this as a birthday present for my wife and it does play mp3's what is what she really wants it for. I really don't want to mess it up trying to figure out if the memory was hacked or trying to get video on it but at the same time..........
So any help on this would be great. Thank You in advance
