Default First Mp3 - how to use Media Manager with my player?

I just bought my first MP3/Mp4 player. It is this one --> Album

It has 8gb memory. an Ipod dock, the menu seems to not be as nice as others, no scrolling of the name if the whole name doesn't fit on the screen you cant read it.

The software I got was media manager. I cant seem to figure out how to use it. So I opened the mp3 in my computer I can see the drive but the file folders are not all there. I only have Music, Playlist and record, no Videos, no Pictures no ebook etc. I can copy music files directly in the music folder but I cant figure how to copy a movie in or a ebook etc.
When I open the media manager it also only shows the same files I can see with my computer. If I try to copy a new folder it just copies the contents and not the folder name so then I have all the files from every folder in one list. Is there a get started thread that can help?

Does every one have these problems with these Chinese MP3 players? Is there better software to use?

thank you

These players are quite simple to use and copy data to. Think of the players as a memory stick. When you plug it into your computer, it will show up as a drive in My Computer. Just copy files to that drive (like you would to a memory stick or even a floppy disk), disconnect it and it should show up on your player. I wouldn't bother too much with the Media Manager to be honest as it's quite simple just doing a copy/paste from My Computer.

Hope that helps.

that's what I figured, however I guess like others I got got.
When I open it up in my computer it first shows as a blank drive with no folders.
Then it will show up what I copied in no matter how many files or folders,
however if I disconnect it and look at the mp3 player I only see 3 folders.
If I then go to the main menu and select record then go back to music then I can see all the folders, but if I turn it off and back on Im back to just 3 folders.
I have tried to reformat several times and tried several different ways to copy the folders in but same result. Once in a while I get to see 5 folders, but not often.
It seems to play ok. The menu is very primitive, no graphics only txt and the song title does not scroll so you can read the title, and if you select a song the character count drops about 1/2 In other words about 12 characters show up but when you select one you only see about 7.

The firmware version is 9.5.54, 4/23/2008 and this is supposed to be a 4th gen.
the model is qs_ak2025, 5/9/2008
