I connect my mp4 player to my pc and it says it is a rockchip mp3 usb device.

so I want to know exactly what it is so I can update the firmware it does not have a camera.

also how do I update the firmware.

and when I turn it on it says mini mp4 player

I think it's Rockchip RK27xx based.
Search this forum for instruction how to backup the firmware from RK27xx.
Then, AFTER get a backup, try to find some firmware for your player.
