removing mp4 viruses
 

i need to learn/know how to remove a virus from my mp4 - it is from china you type in mp4 and u'd probably see it because it was like $15 - i started getting stuff off lime wire and it was working great until i tried putting movies on it [Bourne identity, pirates of the Caribbean 1, and cast away] - lime wire never notified me that they contained them if they did carry viruses. now, i can't put folders[playlists] on the mp4. i can only put songs on it by just copy/paste all the songs on the highest level [ folder] on my mp4, and now that's not even working. the virus makes it that i can't add any files on it or it will either delete or un-format. now there are files on the mp4 drive that i cannot delete. one of them are from pirates of the Caribbean and you go into the file and it tells you that the directory is not correct or something. either way i cannot delete anything on the disk. i can delete it, but i go up one folder and i go back down one and there it is again. please help me!!!!!!!!!

Humm, it seems you may actually have a corruption in the disk itself. Try running a scan disk on the drive and see if that helps fix your problem. Or you can run a check disk with the repair and fix option and see if that fixes your problem.

A virus would normally do far worst things on your computer than just affect your MP4 player, it would affect your whole computer more.
