date & time won't stay and switches off by itself

Can't get the settings of my MP4-touch right. For instance, the date & time won't stay.
And it switches off by itself after about 2 seconds.
What to do about this?

Thanx for your help!

Have a look at this Knowledge Base article here: http://mympx.org/forum/knowledge-bas...-settings.html.

Try that and see if that helps.

The main thing you have to remember is when you turn off your player, don't use the [On/Off] switch but instead, press and hold down on the [Play] button instead. It puts it into a 'quiet shutdown' mode and will keep the time settings you put in there. If you use the [On/Off] switch, it will wipe out your time settings so your timer off setting won't take effort because the time isn't set.

Thanx, Binh, but the moment I leave the time menu the time switches back to zero. The same with the date.

And what would be the solution for the fact that the player shuts off so quickly? Does anybody know?
