all you need to do is just drag and drop them onto the player

the player acts as a USB memory drive - does the player show up in windows explorer when you connect it and what have you done / tried so far

I have only plugged in the usb to the computer and mp4 player, but nothing else happens nothing on the computer and all that happens on the mp4 is it shows a charging symbol (well i assume thats what it means) but no other options. Thanks for your help.

Hi jaetyl,

I would check the USB cable as it may be a faulty USB cable that is causing the problem of your MP4 not connecting to your player. Hopefully it's as easy as finding a replacement USB cable and using that to see if your computer picks up your player. The other possibility is that one of the pins on the USB on your player is faulty, which is going to be a real pain as that's not easy to replace. But I would try to find a replacement USB cable and try that to see if that works.

Let us know.

Thanks for letting us know.
Did you reset your player by pressing the "preset" button on the side of your player or did you do something different? It would be good reference for other members should they have a similar problem in the future.

Yes i tried what felt like a million different things but finally pressing the reset on the side of the player worked. Plugged it in and there it was - then as usual dragged and dropped. Thanks again
