Has this problem always happened from the first day you had your player or only just started happening?
The easiest thing I can think of right now is try a DIFFERENT USB instead and see if that helps. |
I also had his problem, take these steps and tell me if it woks.
Plug the device into a usb port in the back of your computer open mp3 uitilities DISK UTILITY, this should make it stay on. Pick low formatting type go over to the partition tab move the bar until it sais 14494( if you cant get this exact number its better to go over then under) format go to mycomputer and find the device that says 1.89 GB right click and format in FAT not FAT32 or NTFS go into the devices menu and change online mode to normal only if you cant follow these instructions for any reason PM me and i will make a step by step picture guide |
i always had this problem. i have to way of entering the unit, i have music, movie, pic menus,,etc.
i tried that and still nothing. another person gave a firmware that they said would work. now all i have is a light color blue screen no more welcome b 4 it go blank or shuts off tried to recover firmware nothing. i looked the memory chip and that did say correct 16 gb, so i dont think it is that, tried other pcs. if u can help thank you |
16gb = 16 gigaBITS 8 bits to a byte and you get 2GB you have a 2GB mp4 player that is dead thanks to firmware replacement which was probably the wrong one. If its really worth it to you to fix it consult the guide for putting it into DFU mode and find the correct firmware, which may be impossible because you didn't back it up before you replaced.
