Default Please help...after repair the memory hack..I get disk error

Yes..When I tried the guide to repair my hacked memory...I get disk error on my player
I used the mp3 disk utility...First i run h2testw and obtained a really 2 gb flash disk...then
I used the repair manual...run the mp3 disk utility...format low....do the 2 partitions....
I get some messages that the flash is a new device I continue...

Now my flash disk is stlll 8 gb on windows xp...I can load delete files...
But for mp4 player I get disk error every time I wanna play my music....
In the setup memory options I get a disk with 0 GB...
There is also no more games....

Firm version QS_AK2025....disk flash is Actios HS

Please help me...

I finally get the real memory....I changed the basics instruction....instead of go to the right and do a Partition
and thne go to the left and do another partition...I set up the arrow to 6107...and do a partition....
The result is two drives one with 2.061 mega F and a cero bite G disk flash....USING MP3 disk utility..
This part seems to be ok....BUT

Default Solved

1. Download...
I got the same problem and figured out a way:

http://mikelab.kiev.ua/PROGRAMS/ChkFlsh.zip

2. Run the program.

3. Check "As Physical Device"

4. Select the correct drive.

5. Check "Low Level Initialisation

6. Now go back up to the drive box and select the partition listing the hacked memory number.

7. Click start.

8. On the new menu that pops up remove all the partitions listed.

9. Create a new one on the number (1).

10. Slide the bar to whatever the correct memory size is (you need to find this out before hand).

11. Click ok.

12. Unplug device and replug when it asks.

13. Format device in windows.

The device should be showing the correct memory size now. Dump some files on and test it out.

All credit goes to Skinki
(PROBLEM TO REMOVE AN MP4 hacking)

However, IMO, for example, if your flash drive's real size is 2 GB, you should only create a partition of about 1.9GB!

When I try with the MP3 disk utility many times....I only get a partition with
only 17 MB that works....no disk error and the player seems ok....but ONLY 17 MB....

The main point here is that, after each time you change the partition size, you would HAVE TO reformat it for the change to take effect!

Also, you should use h2testw to verify if all the space is now working!
