Can't connect my Wharfedale FM6709 player to Win XP SP3

i have this player ( plz don't judge me for buying it ).

I can't connect it with my pc Os xp '02 Sp3.

Somehow i managed to get it going perfect on another pc, and find out it has > SigmaTel SDK4.430 < Software, but unfortunately couldn't find to download load it, or any info what so ever. If you can help any way, i would be grateful ;) . P.s. Merry Christmas and Happy New year.

So to confirm, has your player ever connected to your computer before? Or did it just happen?
Did you do anything to your player before this problem started?
Does it still connect ok to another computer or that other computer also doesn't recognise it?
