Disappearing songs off a player

I am having a problem with songs disappearing off my player. I had about 500 songs on the player and with each use of the player the songs seem to disappear. I am now down to 335 songs on my player. Any information why the player does this will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I tried that. Unless it has a new memory hack on it somehow. These are all 32gb units.
