Default New ROCKCHIP 16GB Fake

Hello. I have overlooked google from the beginning to the end to find a resolve for my new Mp4 Player with TouchScreen from Rockchip. The problem i have is that it say's it has 16gb but as far as try it it can hold up max to 2GB. So i've opened it up and look at nand flash and it is from Hynix and searched for it. I have found a data sheet that will explain all the numbers. So, as far as could figure out it should be a real 16gb NANDFlash: H27UAG8T2ATRBC. This is the number from the flash. I have tried with Mp3 Player Utilities but it always say that the flash isn't supported or it is not recognized. Well it doesn't make me mad that it only has 2GB, cause after one week of battle trough PayPal I've got my money back and remained with the player. So how can i make it show the original amount of memory and does the slot for memory card support cards up to 2gb(it is mmc, i think, those pretty small). I'm new to this, so if could someone explain me what else could i do with it?(like change f/w and does that do). Thank you and sorry for my english.
Any help would be apreciated.

Depends on the Rockchip version. Rk26xx or Rk27xx series.

Can you post the version number from settings/about box. or a photo of the UI.

Do a firmware backup and keep it safe:-
Firmware Extraction for new Rockchip RK27xx series players.

Then you can mod your player!

Thx for the firmware update, but what about my memory. Ain't there any way to show the real capacity. And btw why is it only 2gb avaible since the chip says it should be 16gb? Could i make it so i can use the full memory or at least to show me the real capacity? Thank you.

This repair tool may fix the memory:-

No guarantees, VERY important to backup your firmware first. The repair tool will wipe your player and the firmware!
