Is your player working or it is DEAD. ????
Can you use your player as an USB drive??
Also tell us which disk tool are you using and the details of your player.

Dear darklordchris
From the information you have provided so far:
Looks like you have a hacked player with 2Gb actual flash, I guess when you connect that to a computer, it shows on windows as a 2Gb drive (and maybe windows is trying you to format it). In that case if you do try and go ahead with the format (Fat32) it might NOT complete the format. I guess it is still working as a player (when switched on it boots up normally). And ...YOU ARE TRYING TO LOAD A NEW FIRMWARE.

Is all that I have written here CORRECT darklordchris???????? If not please tell us exactly what the situation is.!!
(Note: if the player is functioning .... DON"T load the firmware NOW you might NEVER be able to get it working again).
