Replacement display MP4
Hi, I have MP4 player with a broken display. Can I be replaced by another screen, other than the original? Other displays to work I need to change something in the firmware and what? Thanks!
Sorry about my English  PS I have the original firmware, if anyone can make changes as needed |
Part number?
|
Broken display
NO128160CNFG1 FP-1 -XL-2006.11 Works display JCT006A 07.06. 10 Can you help me? :( |
Do they have the same pinout? I'm not familiar with those parts.
|
I think that the same pinout, but maybe need to change something in the firmware. And I do not know what and how to change...
|
The display driver.
They may have the same controller, in which case no change is required. |
I swapped the displays and new display shows nothing, just working lights.
I think something should change in the software. These drivers where to look - in a firmware? I do not have much experience, so I need more information, explanations and assistance. Thanks! |
What model of player?
|
The Player is "neo m'sport MP-01F"-Mainboard LX-2114-V1-97
The display is from "IOcean"-mainboard ZX-6012M-TSL V4.0 I can give you both firmware if you needed. Thanks! |
I have a ZX-6012M but it has 128x128 LCM.
You should post both of the firmwares for inspection. |

This is the firmware of the player with a broken display

And this is the firmware of the player - donor.
Firmware is downloaded from the Internet - it is not from the player. |
LX2114: Very strange connectivity (RST=A2,A0=C2,BKL=A0), equally strange LCM controller (Samsung-inspired commands?) -- 128x160
ZX-6012M: Common connectivity (shared with at least 5 other models), 132x132 (active area 128x128), standard Epson-compatible controller My recommendation is to use the ZX-6012M instead, since you can easily find firmware for it and the hardware is well known. |
If I understood correctly, recommend changes to the original firmware to another, to meet the new display. If so, can you recommend me a suitable firmware.
Hardware is - CPU AK1025 Flash Hunix-1GB with FM TEA5767 Loudspeaker-Yes Thanks very much! |

I found the necessary drivers and they changed in the original firmware. Now the display began to show but "incorrect". http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/2589/dsc0160712.jpg http://http://img191.imageshack.us/i...dsc0160712.jpg Then I changed UI30.RES files from the firmware to 1.5 inches and the player started to show even better, like 1.5 inches, but lost the main menu. I think the problem is as follows: Original display of the player was 160/128 pixels http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/6517/foto201.jpg http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/6517/foto201.jpg The new drivers are for 128/160 pixels If I change something in the drivers - the display from 128/160 to 160/128 pixels I think it will be OK Quote:
