Remove Hack not working, Not reading .AVI
 

Hi,

I am brand new in this world full of opportunity.

I got myself a new unit from ebay
New 2.8" Touch Screen MP3 MP4 FM CAMERA Video Player 8G - eBay (item 170469104054 end time Apr-12-10 10:54:30 PDT)

Software:TV5F805 V0.0.2.0
Hardware:TV1F805_V2.2


Suspecting a memory hack, I read multiple thread and tried many ways, this one in particular (http://mympx.org/forum/support-how/3...mory-hack.html) this one seem to be the bible of hack removal.

Sadly it doesnt seem to be working with my unit, it's telling me that I have 2 drive G: and H: of 29mb each and refuse to proceed on with a low format, on the second tab I cannot scale, it stays to 0 MB. I did manage to format it successfully with windows, but it stays at 8 Gig.

From what I read, I experimented two factor. 1st one being the multiplication of same folders or files..
Secondly, up to 512MB it says invalid format for mp3 and AVI....under that it plays my mp3 like a charm.

Which lead me to my second issue, I can read the movie I am creating from the unit, but it is unable to read AVI movies/episode. I have tried old and recent AVI version...telling myself it could be a codec thing. I tried small files... 150 MB, still says it is invalid format.

Anyone got a clue, insight?

Oh and I can read and search...it doesn't mean that I am an expert for keyword though.
