[solved] My laptop won't recgonize my mp3
 

My laptop won't recgonize my mp3 player? when the computer relizes that something has been plugged into the usb a message says unknow device detected. I click on that and it gives me the option to update the driver. I use both options (search OS) (search web) and still no luck anyone know what driver I should use to fix this.
The firware on my mp3 player is listed as...

Does anyone know what this means.
I really like this mp3 player I don't know why it's acting up now. I'd hate to get rid of it.

Do I need to upgrade
 

I solved the first problem by switching usb cords. Now do i need to upgrade firware to this mp3 playr. firmware version listed above

Do not upgrade the firmware if it works as is.
