can still hit buttons, but can't see them - has a solid red background
 

I have a Problem with My Trio Tch-843, so if you have a general idea of the menu layout, then visualize. if i hit the music button, then most of the screen is red. i can still hit buttons, but can't see them.

if i go to the explorer tab, then i can read and see all the buttons but with a red background (by red, i mean solid red). when playing music, in the music player mode thingy, i can see most of the buttons except for back and shuffle/repeat/Etc. Any ideas?

Has this problem just started happening or has it always been like that?
If it has only just started happening, do you remember what you were doing before the problem started?

either randomly, or it may have been dropped. i also tried taking the cover off the back with no luck, just some scratches. about 4 months ago, though.

If the screen goes that solid red, then it seems to me to be more of a physical HARDWARE problem than a firmware issue. I've seen similar problems on laptop and monitors and this is has always been a physical problem with the screen itself. The only fix is to replace the screen or cable.
