USB/PC problems

When i plug my player "sunplus" into my pc, it is recognised, but if i open a folder in the player to say put/remove music, video on it it just hangs with the egg timer, and at times, crashes the pc fully. Ive tried other PC's, but same result. I can see the files but cant remove them or replace them. any ideas?
Tbh im wondering if these cheap chinese players are worth the bother now, the build is crappy at best, you spend half the time looking for firmwares and fixes and while $30-40 was great value a couple of years ago you can now get a cheapish but decent Samsung/Sony for that.

Try these:

1. Try a different USB Cable and see if that helps with the problem. There are a lot of problems with dodgy/cheap USB cables

2. I would try to FORMAT your player and see if that also helps with the problem. Do a format then a scan disk from Windows (with automatic fix as well) as it might be corruptions on the memory as well which Windows might fix for you.

Let me know how you get on.
