Help for Firmware extraction Rockchip 2705
 

Hello, I want to make a backup of the firmware of my new MP4-Player.
It's a Rockchip 2705 Player 7F20302 0929 with 8GB and Touchscreen. Firmware 2.2 Hardware Typ: 080722
I have tried it like in discription here in the forum.
I put the "rkusb.tag" file in the root of my player, disconnect it, turn the player off, turn it on again and connect it with the computer but nothing happen.
No new Partition appears, so I tried different files like "teclast.sys" and "FRK.TAG", also nothing. So I tried instead of my Win7 computer the procedure on a XP one with no difference.

Has someone an idea what could be the problem ? Or is there any mistake I did ?

Hi, if you're still there after 4 months. sorry I only found out this website a week ago. I also have a rockchip MP4, a Soaiy (i&i) SA-863 with rockchip rk2705 chip. I saw the rkusb.tag on mympxplayer.org (the old website) and was surprised that it worked!!!

rkusb.tag should work for you if you put it straight into the root folder.

THen again this was 4 months ago you might have already found a solution.
But anyway, a reply is better than no reply!
