Default Rockship RK2608 4.3" 4GB Touch Screen PMP

It took me a long time to find this website, as I have found there is little to no support for these players made by Chinese. I bookmarked this site right away and began searching through it.

There is a lot of useful information and utilities available to us on this site, I have already learned a lot. But no matter how hard I try, I am not able to get new games on my device.

I have one of the Rockchip touch screen players with the RK2608 chipset. Seems like a very nice player, I love it! Only problem is, it only came with a couple of games, snake and slide.

While snake is sort of fun to play, slide totally sux! I have viewed the player on my computer, and it contains no game folder, and nor can I find the games that are currently on there.

Following advice for another player, I created a folder called GAME, and I placed some games on there with the RKP extension into the folder. However, the player can only see them in exploror, and will not see them in the Game menu.

Despite all my attemps, I am not able to play new games on my touch screen PMP. My best guess is, all games made for rockchip players, are made for the button design, and not a touchscreen, so there is probably an incompatibility issue going on.

If you have any knowledge at all, on how to get RKP games to function on my touch screen player, please let me know. At this point, with all my research and attemps, I am at a loss.

Thanks
sky hawk

PS: I have attached an image of my PMP, incase that helps...

Thanks AleMaxx for the info. Apparently, the program "Chip USB" got the wrong info on my chip, which is a bit odd.

I really like my new player, just wish I could play more games on it. I would love to get an Arcade pack for it, play games like Astroids, Battlezone, Centapede, ETC

Another thing I don't get is why my new PMP does not have a clock. As I understand it, the older PMP's have clocks.
