Need help bad
okay well im new so bare with me. my friend sold me this chinese device. it looks like this.
http://mympxplayer.org/pafiledb/imag..._SPMP3052A.jpg only difference is that the black trim is light blue. it says it has 8gb. anyways the firmware it was running was if i remember V321.5678 or V321.678 or V321.567 something along those numbers. games wise only could emulate NES and i wanted it to also emulate GBC so i was searching for a firmware upgrade. it took me 5 hours to find and install the drivers and programs and find a decent tutorial. i don't know what model this is but i think it is a SPMP3052c because all the FRM pro tools would give me errors except the version 1.2.2 anyways i rushed and did not back up my firmware *facepalm* and installed a newer firmware i downloaded and i get a white screen on start up and have to use the reset button to turn it off. i think it is because i did not mod the firmware with my LCD ID and camera ID. so now i need help trying to find out what my ID's are or what kind of firmware is needed to make it work again :( EDIT: i opened it and this is the info i could make out SPMP3055A HL171 0923 M9104410 |
I don't know if this will help you or not. But this program is capable of reading the chip on your PMP device. I suggest you use it, see what info it provides, and then get back to us.
In most cases, a firmware upgrade does not make any new features available. And in some cases, people brick their players by using a bad firmware update. Sounds like your PMP device is still functioning, so there may be a way to save it. Download Chip Genius V3.01.0613 - MyMPx Hope that helps! |
