Question Can I reset my mp4 to its factory default?

I canīt turn up the volume of my generic mp4 and i was wondering if there is a way to set it back to the conditions it came when I bought it, without formatting or firmware uploading.

You should be able to reset your player back to it's factory default. However, I don't think it will help much with your volume being low.

What if you try using DIFFERENT HEADPHONES or Headsets to see if that helps? Some are better quality so will play sound much better than the cheaper earphones you get with your player.

To reset your player back to it's factory default:
1. Go to the MAIN MENU of your player
2. Find "Setup"
3. In there, there generally is a "reset" or "factory defaults" option somewhere

If you don't see it, post the items that are displayed when you go into [Setup] menu.

Hi, Iīve tried with different headphones but the problem is that the scale for volume only gets down but not up. I turned down the volume ītill 0 and it got stock there, the button works fine for other functions.

I still can listen to music if I change the format to .wav and use them as if they were recordings but I canīt turn up the volume (only down) and it's too low. So I want to reset it to use it with a convenient volume.

The items in Setup are:

- System time (change date and hour)
- LCD set (dark mode, exit)
- Language
- Power off (off time, sleep time)
- Replay mode (manual replay, auto replay)
- Online mode (multiply driver, normal only, encripted only)
- Firmware version (2009/07/02 - 9.5.60 - 2010/01/31 - B0C0_AS202B)
- Firmware upgrade
- Memory info
- Exit

In the back of the player is a reset button but it only turns it off and on, making no changes.

Is there any other way?

Thank you.
And sorry for my bad Enghish
