Problem, which I was not aware of...
hello guyz.
The situation is as follows, i have bought an mp3 from a market in Latvia, which was a copy of Ipod nano, 8GB. I started receiving errors of format, on it when played recently added songs... started to look in to this matter, came across the memory scam, right now i feel really dissapointed. Tried out the software which suggests to see how much space the mp4 has. Results: Warning: Only 7961 of 7962 MByte tested. The media is likely to be defective. 3.8 GByte OK (8093568 sectors) 3.9 GByte DATA LOST (8210560 sectors) Details:0 KByte overwritten (0 sectors) 0 KByte slightly changed (< 8 bit/sector, 0 sectors) 3.9 GByte corrupted (8210560 sectors) 0 KByte aliased memory (0 sectors) First error at offset: 0x00000000b70f0000 Expected: 0x00000000b70f0000 Found: 0x0000000000000000 H2testw version 1.3 Writing speed: 6.21 MByte/s Reading speed: 10.7 MByte/s H2testw v1.4 2nd time Warning: Only 7961 of 7962 MByte tested. The media is likely to be defective. 3.8 GByte OK (8095616 sectors) 3.9 GByte DATA LOST (8208512 sectors) Details:0 KByte overwritten (0 sectors) 0 KByte slightly changed (< 8 bit/sector, 0 sectors) 3.9 GByte corrupted (8208512 sectors) 0 KByte aliased memory (0 sectors) First error at offset: 0x00000000f70f0000 Expected: 0x00000000f70f0000 Found: 0x0000000000000000 H2testw version 1.3 Writing speed: 6.25 MByte/s Reading speed: 10.6 MByte/s H2testw v1.4 So to make things clear. I was scammed, and this mp4 has about 4 GB memory, and the rest is not recoverable right? If that so, I will probably rage and go to the store... Help would be much appreciated. Best regards Sergio. |
