Help me identfy actions player

Hi I'm a newbie here. I want to encode some AMV video for my daughter's new player but I can't.

The supplied SW "AMVFairy" fails to load (transcodedll error)
AMV converter from this site's excellent utilities results in FORMAT ERROR! on the player
The instructions specify an uncommon 160*128 size, I managed to produce some, but FORMAT ERROR!
The sample files supplied on the unit play OK, they are 160*120 16fps AMV and I can't tell how the ones I make are any different.

Anyway I've searched around and I'm not getting anywhere as this player is generic and doesn't have a manufacturer or model number, It coes up in windows as ACTIONS_HS_USB_FlashDIsk2. Firmware version 1.0.04 AS211A_V1003

Can anybody tell me what to search for so I can make a compatible video?

I'll upload a pic.

Thanks in advance

I thought I'd update my thread in case it's any help to anybody else. I finally encoded AMV that works at 160x120 16fps using 4videosoft amv converter, so I'm clever dad again (which I like), mind you I never got to the bottom of why the files from this site's converter don't play. Both types play in VLC, neither shows up in mediatab.
