Firmware upgrade issue
 

Hi,

I bought a Simply Vibe SX V7 media player, and I've been having some issues accessing the mp3 files on my micro SD card. Specifically, it takes a looong time to navigate from folder to folder on the card.

SimplyGlobo, the sellers of the product, say that there's an upgrade to the firmware that should address mp3 access issues, and they pointed me to this link on their site to download the firmware, as well as a Media Player Product Tool to use to apply the firmware.

The problem is that when I plug the speaker into my laptop to do the upgrade, the Media Player Product Tool does not seem to recognise my USB port, so it won't do the upgrade. My laptop has Windows 8, but I've tried this using a Windows 7 laptop, and it makes no difference.

Any suggestions?
