Hi Ross,

Have you tried downloading and playing the sample AMV files we have on our website on your player? Does it jump when you play our sample AMV's?

Try downloading our samples from here: http://www.mympxplayer.com/dload.php...gory&cat_id=11

Let me know what happens.
Thanks,
Binh

The converted amv files still simply jump, though I have followed right steps . I wonder if it is the problem of the design of the converting tool programming. How does the tool "extract" the frames from the original video files? It is in an uneven rate? Thus result in jumping converted amv files?

KEN,

Try downloading sample .amv files from our website, play them on your player and see if it's jump free.

Let me know what happens.
What you can also try is use Virtual Dub to resize your video files down to the correct size, then use the AMV Convert Tool to convert it to .AMV. I've found gives you better quality, but not sure about the 'jumping' bit. I haven't had any problems with AMV's been 'jumpy'.

Try our sample AMV files and tell me what happens when it plays on your player.

your sample amv files will surely never jump. I am sure the problem is not due to the player, but the amv files itself. If the converted file is OK , then it will never jump. But The amv filkes I converted using the converting tools even jump when I play them in my computer and not just in my mp4 player. So, I am sure the problem does not come from my mp4 player, the amv file itself has problem. As I mentioned before, I think this is due to the way of the tool selecting video frames from the original viode files.

Eg. My original avi files has a frame rate of 30 per second, but the amv file only have , let's say, 10 per second, but does the converting tool choose the original frames in an even way? ie. the 1st, 4th, 7th......... ? Or just simply choose the first 10 original frames (ie. the original first 0.33 second) and then become the final 10 frames in the amv file ? How even does the program choose the frames from origianl video file ?

 Hi,

I've the same problem the it's not about player, player can play 128x128 high frame rate video without jump. Can anyone tell where to find an actual codec for amv video? so that I can encode it in different software.

hi it may be because ur mp4 may hav a viruse do a viruse scan on it or it might just be because ur mp4 has a lot on it so it is slowing down or u could just try reinstalling the amv converter (mp3 player utilites 3.68 is good) good luck
