can not convert *mov video to *amv

HI!

can anyone please help me... i cant convert .mov quicktime videos to .amv...

Help please :cry: im using amv video convert tool ver. 3.68... the .avi coverts to amv, only .mov doesnt

Can you play the .MOV files ok on your computer?

It might be that your computer doesn't have the correct CODEC installed for the converting software to convert it.

What you can do is try to install the SLD Codec Pack 2.2. Download it from here: http://www.mympxplayer.com/dload.php...file&file_id=6

Let me know if that works or not.

now i'm encountering problems converting the .mov to amv... the converter show "amvtransform.exe" encounters problems... like illegal operation sort...

what sould i do next?

Can you zip up your .MOV file and upload it to our site please?

I will take a look at it and find out how to convert it for you.

In the meantime, you can try using this tool: http://guiguy.wminds.com/downloads/mov2avigui/ to convert your file to an .AVI instead and see if that works?

hello, i've got the same problem (Marianne13) and i can't convert .mov to .amv in way that it works.
i try with another programs, convert the .mov file to .avi and then convert it to .amv but my mp4 player (nano clone) just a few seconds later of i push play, it give's me an error mesage: "File Error Format"(it starts to reproduce it a few seconds and then it stop and gives me that error) ... please help me! (its a problem with .mov files)
I convert them to avi with rad video tools .. then i use the normal .amv converter

castagno, are you using version 3.68 of the AMV Conversion Tool. Try downloading some AMV files from here http://www.mympxplayer.com/dload.php...gory&cat_id=11 and see if they work ok. Use settings 128x96, high, high, and select try other codec.

I think you are probably using AMV Convert Tool 4.00 is that right? There is a bug with this. Try using AMV Convert Tool 3.68 instead, it should work fine.
