Default [solved] AMV converter problem when I press the begin button


When I select a media file the converter opens it...no problem but when i press the begin button it just blocks a theirs a error message asking me to debug...wat to do?

and another problem i can't press the settings botton.it just has a fading colour and when i press it nothing hapens

They had the same problem as you and it's solved now so read it for the solution.

tried to make another user install it again samo samo...when i upload the file i want to convert and then click begin it just doesent do nothing.the writing fades and the progress counter remains at 0! after a while program not responding end task

Some questions:

1.
What operating system are you using? Windows XP? Well, usually when you make another user account with FULL ADMINISTRATIVE RIGHTS (you created another admin user right?) it always worked.

2.
What version of the Convert Tool are you using?

3.
What file are you trying to convert? It is a .avi or .mpg or .mov or.....?? I would suggest try a few other files instead as it might be the original file instead?

Try those and let me know.

yeah i'm using win xp & the user that i made had full admin rights.i tried to install 3.68 but it didn't work so i instaled 3.57 i managed to instal it but i already posted the problems i had with it.i tried converting from avi to afs it just crashes

try installing sld codec pack
