Amv video volume too low....
is there a way to amplify the audio volume of a video file before converting it to amv?
or can i do the amplifying in the converter itself? THANX 8) |
after converting to AMV the vedio plays low volume
Even i have same problem once i convert any vedio file to AMV and play it in the player the volume is very low
I checked the setting in AMV converter tool we have a option for audio but its grayed out Is there any way so that we can have the original sound Plz assist |
Re: Amv video volume too low....
I tried to strip the soundtrack off the video file, and succeeded...
and I amplified the audio volume and with the AMV CONVERTER TOOL, I mixed it into the conversion.. (with the grayed line mentioned here ...) BUT even after the AMV file sounded much louder in the computer than the original soundtrack, the player was still playing the file, but in a very low volume... What can I do? |
avi,
What happens if you try the sample AMV files from our site? Does it do the same with low volume too? If you increase the volume of your mpx player to full/maximum, does that help? (thought I would ask) |
Re: Amv video volume too low....
no.
unfortunatly the sample video's volume is to low as well... and the low volume Im talking about is in the highest volume setting of my MP4 player... |
avi,
Humm, the volume of the sample AMV files on our site play quite fine on my players (I have a few). So, this leads me to believe it might be your player. You can play MP3's fine with the right volume right? Have you tried a different set of headphones/earphones just in case it's not the headphones that's causing this? |
Re: Amv video volume too low....
I have the same problem. Mp3 are loud and fine, but videos are very very low volume...

I have the same problem. The MP3 playback volume is nice and loud, but when I try to watch an AMV video on the bus or subway I can barely hear anything.

Re: Amv video volume too low....
I convert all my video files to AVI with PocketDivxEncoder where you can increase the audio volume, brightness etc. and crop to size before finally converting to AMV format. It takes a little longer but you end up with movies that have great sound, no widescreen black bands at top and bottom and clean crisp images.

I know this an old thread but I've only just got my wife an MP4 player and have had exactly the same, very frustrating, problem. It was by accident that whilst watching a movie file I paused it and then accidently hit the volume button and Voila! There was the volume adjuster. So it just seems the volume settings have to be done separately for each type of file and NOT whilst the movie is actually playing, unlike an MP3 music file.
I also found that older v3 versions of AMV Convert Tools are nowhere near as good as v4_25 and when the settings are - Screen160x128 Normal convert High quality Image the movies and sound are of far superior quality than ANY earlier version with movie frame rates being very smooth. If someone could have told me all this earlier this week I might not have been near to a nervous breakdown and saved the cost of a headphone amplifier :( |
Just a note to add onto this thread. Virtual Dub has options to increase the volume. It also has a lot of options to improve the quality of your videos. It can be downloaded from this website.
