I tried to strip the soundtrack off the video file, and succeeded...
and I amplified the audio volume and with the AMV CONVERTER TOOL, I mixed it into the conversion.. (with the grayed line mentioned here ...)
BUT even after the AMV file sounded much louder in the computer than the original soundtrack, the player was still playing the file, but in a very low volume...

What can I do?

avi,

What happens if you try the sample AMV files from our site? Does it do the same with low volume too?

If you increase the volume of your mpx player to full/maximum, does that help? (thought I would ask)

avi,

Humm, the volume of the sample AMV files on our site play quite fine on my players (I have a few). So, this leads me to believe it might be your player.

You can play MP3's fine with the right volume right? Have you tried a different set of headphones/earphones just in case it's not the headphones that's causing this?

I have the same problem. The MP3 playback volume is nice and loud, but when I try to watch an AMV video on the bus or subway I can barely hear anything.
