Default Converted AMV file "JUMPING" on my MP4 Player's sc

it's goes something like: one second it playes on the normal speed, and another second it's running too fast, and then normal again, and then too fast again for a second or two...

why is that happening?
I recieved a sample video with my player and its playing perfectly...
(and I followed every step of the guide you've put in this site.......

Help please...

avi,

What happens when you play the .AMV files downlaoded from our website? Try downloading some sample .AMV files on our website and see how they play.

If it doesn't jump, then it's the way you've encoded it, if it does, then it might actually be your player (I doubt it though).

Read the knowledge base here: http://www.mympxplayer.com/viewtopic.php?t=32.

Step #6 mentions to encode the AMV with "HIGH" Frames per second and Image Quality. Did you that?

I did download "my humps" from this site... and it didnt do the annoying "jumping" thing...
and i also mentioned the sample video that came along with my player...
and I already said I encoded my videos exactly how you showed me in your site...

What is the problem?

It's probably your original video file then in that case.

Use Virtual Dub or another app that will tell you what FRAMES PER SECOND your video file is in. I think any video files that are 30 fps or more will have problems. If that's the case, then you will need to change the FPS to standard NTSC or PAL fps instead - 23 fps or 29.97 fps.

Try that.
