XamleTT, as discussed it seems 3.68 is a more stable version however I have had good results using these settings in 4.0

As for MediaManager I do not think it is worth the disk space.

I have ONKI MV-20(Digital MP4 Player 1.5”) After wasting two days finally I found this site and I was so happy that everything is available on this site. As per instructions first I downloaded AMV Convert Tool 4.00 (MP3 Player Utilities 4.00) (11891 Downloads) Tool to convert your videos to .AMV video files. It download without any problem upto 60% and then start making errors…(With this version some songs are OK and also show on full screen but with this version most songs have format error lateron……I uninstalled it and again installed AMV Convert Tool 3.68 (MP3 Player Utilities 3.68) (36038 Downloads)Tool to convert your videos to .AMV video files: it’s performance is OK but it cannot display on whole screen. I tried to change the line VWH=160*120 but after changing even the result is same. I uninstalled it and installed: AMV Convert Tool 3.57 (MP3 Player Utilities 3.57) (6852 Downloads)Tool to convert your videos to .AMV video files: On this tool I have no problem with making AMV but same on half screen……As you advised I tried and find out VWH=128*96 to change it 160*120 but I can’t see this line instead few line may help to understand:

[Option]
TitleInfoCount=4
DebugInfoCount=27
UIInfoCount=76
VIDEOWH=3
VIDEOFRAME=3
MTVFILEEXTEND=amv
EXEPLAYER=1
WAITTYPE=0
MEMSIZE=30000000
Would anyone can advise me what to do? I don’t understand, I am fighting from the last four days all the time with these three software’s, but ….no success. Help me plzzzzzzz. Thanking you in advance…….

Re: Problems with AMV Convert Tool 4.0

in version 4.00, edit AmvTransform.ini and make sure CHIPTYPE=0

you should have no more problems

tadad1 10th Jul 2006 3:50 am

dazonic, If you set to CHIPTYPE=0 is there any way to access 160x120 setting?

dazonic 10th Jul 2006 9:55 pm

i couldnt find a way, sorry mate.

editting this line

VIDEOSIZE=96X64(8;10;12),128X96(8;10;12),128X128(8 ;10;12)

did nothing

Funny thing is:

I have two 1,8' MP4:
http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/7631/dt220yu5.jpg and http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/4554/imgkh6.jpg

The interesting thing is that the same file of 160x128 works fine on the second one (even rotates automatically) and crashes on the first.

When my "former" dead player with broken battery cable returns, I´ll modify the .ini file. ;) The interesting thing is that the second one seems to turn the file clockwise automatically.

The other problem is that the AMV files are very large! It´s reducing in average to 1/3 of the original size (A beautiful 300MB video goes to a huge nasty 115MB tiny one). The configuration options for quality are not "choseable" on my converter. :roll:
