Default [solved] converting errors


Every time i try to convert a long video (like 20 min) a error comes up. When I convert a short video it works. Can Some one please help :!:

Please state the exact error. What file extension is the original... RM, mpeg, etc.

the thing is AVI. when i click begin it says error in the waiting area and says its done converting. For get what I sayed about the long video stuff. Its just some dont work, and think its AVI.

The error probably results from having the same exact file name in the out put folder. Try re-naming the same file in the folder you output to, then run file again, or select a diff directory for it.

Read the Knowledge Base - How to: Convert to .AMV using the MP3 Player Utilities 3.68 from here.

Step #6 tells you to put a tick in "Try another codec" if you get converting errors. Try that and let me know if that fixes the problem. If not, then I would try also updating the codecs you have on your computer too as it might be a fairly new codec that the Converter can't decode properly.
