Uploading AMV files to myMPXplayer.com?!

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for a great site, it really is interesting and helpful.
I have a couple of AMV files which are quite short and funny and I am hoping to share them with other members.
There isn't an entry in the FAQ describing the method to do this the closest thing I could see was an entry about attachments.
Please can someone explain the best way to upload my files? They are 12.4Mb and 11.3Mb in size.

Bazwaldo, if you go to the downloads section and then uploads by members you will see an upload button at the top of the page.

Well I tried uploading one of my files but when I click on "Add" it fails to go through.
I guess I'll just have to keep trying until the system is back up and working again.

Bazwaldo, there may be a problem with the site, I just tried to upload a firmware and had problems as well. Try again tommorrow perhaps.

Hi again,

I have just tried uploading the file again and no joy.
I tried with Firefox and IE with my Firewall turned off but just get the message "connection reset".
Not to worry I will try again later.

Bazwaldo, it appears some people are managing to upload but others are having problems. The other thing there is a 10MB max size limit.

Thanks for that tip, I will try splitting the file into 2 parts and try again!

Yep this time with the file size reduced to below 10Mb my files have uploaded successfully.
Why not check them out they are pretty funny, well I think so anyway!
The files are:-

Store Wars Pts 1 & 2
The Meatrix Pts 1 &2

I hope they make you chuckle!
