problems with converting in .amw
 

1) I`ve an interesting problem with amw tools 4.00. When i`m converting video in 128x128 resolution it plays perfectly, but when i`m converting video in 160x120 resolution (to watch full screen video) it start to play and after 5-10 seconds says "format error" ( my mp4 has 1,8" lcd screen). :( :(

2)Who knows program to convert video in 160x120 resolution(not amv tools 4.00)? :cry:

This is fairly common, as ver. 4.00 is still a bit unstable.
Simply uninstall 4.00.

Download and install 3.68.
Once installed, in order to obtain 160x128 resolution, you must edit the AmvTransform.ini file. Open it in notepad, and in this string:

VIDEOSIZE=96X64(8;10;12),128X96(8;10;12),128X128(8 ;10;12)

insert 160x128(8;10;12)

reboot, and test. Post back results.

Romik, I have not been able to convert any .amv files at 160x120 on any version of AMV Conversion Tool and have it play completely without the dreaded "format error" or jerky motion. All other resolutions are fine.

If I find a solution I will let you know.
