1.8" mp4
hello all!
after updating firmwire in 1.8" player at first i couldn't view videos , i installed a 3.68 converting utility and was able to watch vidoes but not on full screen , i tried to change resolution, but with no succsess http://www.powerdisk.co.il/pro/mp3_8.htm what resolution should i use ? which firmwire ? which software ? thanks , uriel |
urielr, I have just upgraded to a 1.8 player for the benifits of full screen video. I only know of 2 versions that will support conversion of files to 160x120 for full screen video and they are 4.0 and I have a copy of 3.5.02 that came with my player. Whilst they both support this resolution I have yet to get one to run on my player fully without getting a "format error" I do not know if the problem is in the conversion or the player but every other resolution works fine.
If I find an answer for this I will let you know. Cheers and thanks for using the forum. |
I have a 1.8" MP4 Player running on Firmware 3.5.37 i use AMV Video Convert Tool v4.00 which as stated does support 160x120 output of video which i have no problem playing on my player..

urielr,
Take a look at my post in this message: http://www.mympxplayer.com/viewtopic.php?p=238#238 It outlines what u can do to try to get your videos converting to 160*120 instead. Let me know if that works. |
Re: 1.8" mp4
thnaks !!!!!!!!!
it worked like a charm  I have one other question if anyone knows , I'd like to know if it's possible to display the video vertically as I could with the original firmwire and converter thanks again , urielr |
urielr, try these settings to achieve the layout you want
You can rotate video in AMV Converter 4.0 by applying these settings in the amvTransform.ini file. BMPADJUST=0 - Normal BMPADJUST=1 - Flip vertical BMPADJUST=2 - Flip horizontal (mirror) BMPADJUST=3 - Rotate 180 degrees BMPADJUST=4 - Rotate 90 degrees clockwise BMPADJUST=5 - Rotate 90 degrees counterclockwise Hope this helps. :) |
Re: 1.8" mp4
I tried that , but I can't watch videos converted in converting utility 4.0
becuse I get format error any ideas? I am using converting utility Tool 3.57 thanks |
urielr
Have you tried the Convert Tool 3.68 instead? |
Sorry urielr I should have read the earlier posts, the only thing I can suggest is before you convert your files to AMV run them through VirtualDub which you can download from here
http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/ or MediaCoder http://www.mympxplayer.com/dload.php...le&file_id=130 both will let you rotate the picture before you convert to AMV. |
