urielr, I have just upgraded to a 1.8 player for the benifits of full screen video. I only know of 2 versions that will support conversion of files to 160x120 for full screen video and they are 4.0 and I have a copy of 3.5.02 that came with my player. Whilst they both support this resolution I have yet to get one to run on my player fully without getting a "format error" I do not know if the problem is in the conversion or the player but every other resolution works fine.

If I find an answer for this I will let you know.

Cheers and thanks for using the forum.

urielr,

Take a look at my post in this message: http://www.mympxplayer.com/viewtopic.php?p=238#238

It outlines what u can do to try to get your videos converting to 160*120 instead.

Let me know if that works.

I have one other question if anyone knows , I'd like to know if it's possible to display the video vertically as I could with the original firmwire and converter

urielr, try these settings to achieve the layout you want

You can rotate video in AMV Converter 4.0 by applying these settings in the amvTransform.ini file.

BMPADJUST=0 - Normal
BMPADJUST=1 - Flip vertical
BMPADJUST=2 - Flip horizontal (mirror)
BMPADJUST=3 - Rotate 180 degrees
BMPADJUST=4 - Rotate 90 degrees clockwise
BMPADJUST=5 - Rotate 90 degrees counterclockwise

Hope this helps. :)

urielr

Have you tried the Convert Tool 3.68 instead?

tadad1 10th Jun 2006 6:25 am

Sorry urielr I should have read the earlier posts, the only thing I can suggest is before you convert your files to AMV run them through VirtualDub which you can download from here
http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/
or MediaCoder
http://www.mympxplayer.com/dload.php...le&file_id=130
both will let you rotate the picture before you convert to AMV.
