Does Dvd shrink converts VOB to AVI? if yes means let me know the settings

prasanna, Dvd shrink is for shrinking a commercial 7-9GB dvd so it will fit on to a regular 4.7GB disk, I have seen no option in it to convert to AVI.

Ok thats fine.Right now I am converting a VOB file saved in my computer to AVI using Xilisoft DVD ripper platinum.There r lot of avi options in that I have chosen audio-video Interleaved (AVI).
Will update u once it is done.

tadad1 and admin, good morning guys....
Yesterday I converted one .AVI file which I downloaded from internet (700MB) to AMV and it has converted fully i think as it didnt give the message Diskfull i between.
Now what do u infer from this, i think the pocketdivxencoder is the culprit.Can u suggest me any other software to convert VOB to AVI...so that I can check.

Guys., I found the solution for this problem DISKFULL,
split the avi file and then convert it in the amv converter it worked no problem.
