AGoldenberg,
Whilst the process of converting to AMV could certainly be streamlined I have converted in excess of 100 video files of assorted format in the process of building up a library of AMV's and have had no problems with sound on a single one of them. Not that it is going to help pinpoint the problem, I think it must stem from your PC setup, by this I mean perhaps there is a program conflicting with the converter, a codec issue, I do not know but something within your operating system enviroment. If possible try converting the files on another system and see if the same problem occurs.
