Default Full screen

Hello, I have this problem:
When i watch a video (for example the ice age 2 movie trailer in the dowloads section or the ones converted with amv convert tool, the image is not really full screen. It has 2 black stripes on top and bottom. On top it appears AMV PLAYER, and on bottom the name of the file.
When i tried to convert a file to 128x128, i canīt see the complete image on the screen.
I tried to set different resolutions with PocketDivx but when i convert them with amv convert tool, the problem is the same.
My player came with a couple of video samples that can be seen in full screen with no stripes at all.
I also tried to rotate the image by editing the amvtransform.ini, but i couldnīt make it work. It flips horizontally or vertically, but it doesnīt rotate with the options i read in other topic.
I hope you can help me, because i read the other topics but i couldnīt solve my problem
Thank you!

Sumum, Resize in PocketDivXEncoder and remove the black lines from top and bottom and reduce the width

Original
Click the image to open in full size.

Resized
Click the image to open in full size.

For full screen 1.5 you need to have AMV Converter set to 128x128

I believe this is by DESIGN.

Having the "AMV Player" and the title of the AMV file at the bottom was 'written' into the firmware to allow for this. If you look at the firmware file itself, you can see the images there (which you can replace). However, the manufacturer has designed the firmware to have the top and bottom header/footer and won't give you the 'full screen' feel unfort.

Some other players and board will have the full screen with no top and bottom header/footer.

Unfort, the s1res tool doesn't have the function to remove the top and bottom header/footer either.

I don't know if its the firmware that's causing this, as the demo videos that come with the player don't show these stripes, i have also download some of the net and these also don't carry the stripes.

I think there is a way to have your videos without the stripe, maybe using the pocketdivx to resize, might fix the problem.
