AVI TO AMV

HI,
I can download wmv / mpg / mpg files etc from a torrent site no problem and convert to amv. This has worked no problem everytime I use it.

When I download an avi file ( divx ? ) - I can download it from the torrent site no problem, but when I run it through the amv converter ( 3.68 ) - it ends almost immediately in error, so an unsuccesful convert.

fariha, Sounds like you need divx codecs installed. Download and install K-Lite Mega Pack from HERE it should fix the problem.

If you can play the divx file on your computer, then in the [settings] of the AMV Convert Tool (after you've selected the file), there is an option to "Try another codec". Tick that then try converting again and see if that helps.
