(Solved) ERROR (rm and rmvb video file convert to amv)
 

:( Hi everyone...
i was trying the whole night for my new 1.8" mp4 player which is .amv video oriented... i try to convert rm and rmvb video files to amv, but most of the result occured in ERROR.. ( i m using mp3 player utilities 3.68 )

can anyone tell me wat is the problem behind it?? i really need help because most of my vidoe files is rm and rmvb...

ahyang, Are you getting the error when playing them on your player or when converting them on your PC.

is like that dude, first i hav many rm and rmvb files in my pc, the file can b played in my pc and no problem occur when playing those files..

the obly problem is y i cant convert it into amv file??? it appears error in the status bar when everytime i convert it...

so how admin?? help me pls...

ahyang, I can convert rmvb files without any problem. I suggest you download and install K-Lite Mega Codec Pack DOWNLOAD

i now downloading the k-lite mega pack, and i wil test later on...

are the problem is because of directshow filter???

ahyang, It sounds like a codec problem to me. After you install the codec pack reboot and try to convert and let me know how it goes.

hey dude, really need to say thx to u, after i had instal tis pack, the file can b converted now.. and i found the problem, that is "real alternative"

once u not having tis software, u cannot play ur rm or rmvb file in ur window media player..

the condition of convert real file to amv is play real file in window media player, so after u instal the K-lite mega codec pack, u can play it now, that mean u also can convert the real file as well :)

i think u should convert rm to avi
& then convert to amv to get the best result
